"LA Times" theater trailer ad on miniature effects

Responsible for supervising the contruction and painting and dressing of forced perspective set. With full scale live action in the foreground the set went back about 60 feet in 1/2 and 1/4 scale to create impression of buildings 1/2 a mile off in the distance. Flash bulbs and compressed air was used to create mock explosions.
